Bev Skinner received her
training at the Virginia School of Massage. She has
practiced massage for 17 years, 12 of which were at
the Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg.
Bev's techniques include Swedish, Deep Tisue,
Myofascial Release and Reiki. Bev was awarded the
2003 Humanitarian Award by the Virginia chapter of
the American Massage Therapy Association. Her
outside interests include walking, mystery novels,
movies and art. |

| Jennifer Teal
is
our caring, insightful and fun chiropractic
assistant. Jennifer began her career as a
chiropractic assistant at the age of 15 in southern
California. Jennifer has also worked as a natural
childbirth educator, instructing couples in prenatal
and postpartum care, as well as labor and delivery
techniques. For the last 20 years, she has been
practicing massage and bodywork in Charlottesville
and has taught couples massage and relaxation
techniques. Jennifer adores spending free time with
her 4 adult children. |

| Jacki Rooke was
teaching Anatomy & Physiology classes at the
Virginia School of Massage, when she decided to take
“bodywork” classes to enable her to become a better
teacher. She ended up loving massage therapy and
decided to start a career in that field. She is
currently trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue,
Myofascial Release, Aromatherapy, and Pregnancy &
Infant Massage techniques. Jacki is a Nationally
Certified (NCTMB) and Virginia Licensed (Board of
Nursing) Massage Therapist. Jacki loves doing
therapeutic massage to help our clients decrease
their stress, obtain relief from medical conditions,
and maintain good health. Her background in medicine
– medical assistant, registered nurse, and
nurse-midwife – enables her to apply her past
experiences and education to this new field. |

| Tonya Davis is our
effervescent, accommodating and supportive front
office coordinator. She brings to our practice 12
years of front desk experience in dental offices.
She has also previously worked as a private duty
nurse. Tonya prides herself on establishing good
relations and respecting others. Outside of the
office, Tonya enjoys spending time with her husband
Robert and her two children. |

| Jim Gagnon
is a Nationally Certified (NCTBM) and Virginia
Licensed (Board of Nursing) Massage Therapist who
graduated from the Cayce/Reilly School of
Massotherapy in 1995 and has been working in our
office since 2002. He is trained in various
techniques including Deep Tissue, Myofascial
Release, Swedish, Reiki and Breathwork. Jim is also
a practitioner of Yoga and Tai Chi as well as an
excellent musician and musical educator. Sometimes
he incorporates his love of music into his healing
practice with the use of a specially designed sound

Tamara Shifflett,
our insurance and office coordinator, comes to us with over 15 years
of experience in the health care and insurance
industry. When she is not in the office boosting our
spirits with her enthusiastic and positive attitude,
she enjoys spending time with her family and
friends.
